about IDYLLLIMBOR:

IDYLLLIMBOR sets out to make unmediated room for pure sound; to explore the difference between the involuntary nature of hearing and the voluntary, selective nature of actively listening*. Aiming to meet at monthly intervals in total darkness, IDYLLLIMBOR strives to build a loose community of like-minded, curious individuals, to come together listen to a curated program of music/sound and be differently present (and usually eat some homemade mashed potatoes). It has been hosted in Viktor Timofeev's attic in Rotterdam since January 2016, and is now hosted at No Moon, South Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
